I’m Jess, a passionate and experienced professional photographer serving Baltimore, Maryland and the surrounding area with over 11 years of capturing moments that last a lifetime. Photography is not just a job for me; it’s my way of celebrating life, love, and artistry.

I love creating beautiful images that will be cherished forever and providing a photography experience that is relaxed and enjoyable for everyone I work with.

I revel in the diversity of photography, and my portfolio reflects this. Whether it’s a family portrait, a whimsical and creative fantasy session, the timeless beauty of a wedding day, the meticulous and detail-oriented world of food and product photography, the intimate and empowering moments of boudoir shoots, the energy of live music, or the excitement of events, I’ve had the privilege of capturing it all. My aim is to tell your story through my lens, no matter the occasion.

When it comes to portraits and events, my style is firmly rooted in documentary and lifestyle photography. I believe that the most authentic moments happen when you’re just being yourself, so I strive to capture the genuine, unscripted moments that make life beautiful. While I can certainly create those classic, posed shots when needed, my heart lies in the candid, unfiltered moments that truly speak to the essence of who you are.

At the core of my photography philosophy is a deep respect for diversity. I can affirm that I am an inclusive artist who is eager to respectfully serve everyone – all families, bodies, genders, and abilities.

In May 2024, I am graduating with my degree in Environmental Science and I am excited to mesh my passion for photography, love of nature, and dedication to conservation! I was very excited to find the Nature First organization, which promotes responsible photography in the outdoors. Their Nature First Principles are an excellent read for both fellow photographers and clients and provide reminders on how we can take beautiful photos without harming the environment.

Having John and Jessica shoot our wedding was like having two friends do the honors- it just so happened that these friends happened to be really good at taking pictures. When a medical emergency meant that we needed to revise the photo schedule 3 days ahead of the wedding, they were able to accommodate by arriving earlier than planned. They have a great way of encouraging people to be themselves in front of the camera- they gave this pair of introverts enough direction to set up some great pictures, but otherwise kept the portraits from feeling performative or scripted. And, they delivered photos like these a week in advance of the estimated delivery date. They were fabulous to work with in all respects and I'm so glad that we chose them to capture the memories of our day!

John and Jessica were perfect. They shot our wedding at Westminster Hall in Baltimore, MD on October 29, 2016. We honestly could not have asked for a better team to work with. Multiple people at the wedding complimented how nice and professional they were and also well they blended into the crowd. The funny part is I don't even remember actually seeing them take any of the fantastic candid shots they got, which is a testament to how good they really are. We got our pictures back in a very timely fashion and they are fantastic. From our first meeting until the handing over of our photos it was the perfect experience. As an added bonus they provided us with a beautiful wooden carved box with our prints along with the USB containing the files. This was on top of the online gallery. The pricing was extremely competitive, honestly a steal with their skill level. We are just so happy and pleased with their service I could go on for days. Hire them. That's really the best advice I could give any soon to be married couple!
